About the Program
Sertshang Orphanage Home was established in 2002 primarily to provide safe shelter and basic needs to children who were victims of the civil war in Nepal at that time. Since its inception, the orphanage has been nurturing over 200 children, offering them education, food, and shelter in a family-like environment.
Many of these children, who received care from Sertshang Home, have now grown up to become university graduates. A significant number of them have chosen to give back to society through various projects of the BIA Foundation.
